In order to offer you the best service and in order to facilitate use, the number of pages visited, the number of visits, the activity of visitors and their frequency of use are analyzed. To this end, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) uses the statistical information produced by the Internet Service Provider. In addition, the AEPD does not use cookies to collect information from users, nor does it record access IP addresses. Only our own session cookies are used for technical purposes (which allow the user to navigate through the website and use the different options and services that exist in it). The portal of which the AEPD is the owner contains links to third-party websites, whose privacy policies are foreign to it. By accessing them, you can decide whether to accept their privacy and cookie policies. If you browse the Internet, you can accept or reject third-party cookies from your browser’s settings.

Basic Information on Data Protection

The personal data they collect will be treated confidentially and will be incorporated into the corresponding processing activity owned by the AEPD. The updated list of treatment activities carried out by the AEPD is available at the following link to the register of its activities: https://www.aepd.es/es.

The processing of your data is carried out for the fulfilment of legal obligations by the AEPD, for the performance of public interest tasks, or in the exercise of public powers conferred on it. Thus, when the purpose of the processing requires your consent, it must be given by clear affirmative action. You can consult the legal basis for each of the processing activities carried out by the AEPD on its website, in the activity registration section.

Data Retention

The personal data you provide us will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they are collected and to determine the possible responsibilities that may arise from the purpose, in addition to the periods laid down in the archives and documentation regulations.

Data Communication

Personal data will not be communicated to third parties, except under legal obligation, which may include communications to the Ombudsman, Judges and Courts, interested in the procedures that relate to any of the complaints filed.
